My PRIVATE Bamberg Tour from Nuremberg will take you to all of the most interesting, historical sites within the historic city center and conclude with a Bamberg culinary delight after we finish the walking portion of the tour.
Some of the sites we’ll see are the Residence Geyerswörth, the Old City Hall, the Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Royal Residence, the New Residence, Michaelsberg Abbey, and a visit to Altenburg Castle.
For lunch (not included in the tour price) we’ll have the opportunity to savor the Bamberger Onion and wash it down with some world-famous smoked beer.
Bamberg’s historic city center has been a listed UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993.
This makes Bamberg one of just twelve sites in Germany and one of the 400 sites worldwide that have been recognized in this manner.
More than 2,000 UNESCO-listed buildings, winding lanes, and an abundance of medieval churches make this city a real Franconian jewel.
