Nuremberg Tours in English FAQ
Why should you book private tours in Nuremberg with Nuremberg Tours in English?
Simply put, I am good at what I do and I love doing it. Of course, you could head out on your own or book a group tour. But why make things hard on yourself or take a cookie-cutter group tour that doesn’t take your personal interests or needs into consideration?
With my tours, you set the pace and you decide how you want to enjoy your tour. Hiring me is like going somewhere for the first time and meeting up with a friend who lives there.
My local knowledge is readily apparent and, in terms of Nuremberg’s World War II and Medieval history,
I’ll give you an excellent historical perspective as well. To round things off, I speak fluent English (obviously, I’m American) so during the tour, you won’t be constantly asking your travel companions, “What did he say?”

What is the cancellation policy?
Standard Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or cannot take your tour as a consequence of force majeure, Nuremberg Tours in English will refund the amount you have paid for your tour to a limit of 600 EURO less any non-recoverable out-of-pocket costs incurred on your behalf – car rentals, admissions, hotel reservations, tickets, PayPal transaction fees, etc.
Nuremberg Tours in English may require you to verify to confirm that you were unable to take your tour if you request a refund under this provision.
Force Majeure includes impersonal events such as war, civil insurrection, strikes, volcanoes, earthquakes, or natural disasters.
Force Majeure in this provision does NOT include river water levels affected by the weather. A travel warning issued by the US Department of State AFTER you book your tour invokes ‘Force Majeure.
If you are on a ship and it is unable to dock for whatever reason, you are NOT covered under this ‘Force Majeure’ provision.
For cancellation due to any other reasons (such as illness, change of personal circumstances, etc.), the date on which the request to cancel is received by Nuremberg Tours in English will determine the amount of your refund as follows:
If you cancel 60 days or more before the start of the tour the cancellation fee will be waived. Nuremberg Tours in English will refund the amount paid less any non-recoverable upfront costs incurred on your behalf. These upfront costs represent out-of-pocket expenses for tickets, transportation deposits, other tour expenses, and PayPal transaction fees (4%). Please send a message to Kevin to find out what these costs are if any.
If you cancel 59 to 30 days before the start of the tour: a 40% cancellation fee.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the start of the tour: a 100% cancellation fee.
If Nuremberg Tours in English cancels the tour, you may choose between rescheduling the tour, a full refund of all monies paid, OR a credit towards an alternative tour.
If you choose to accept a credit, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded or paid by you as applicable.
A waiver of these cancellation policies is at the discretion of Nuremberg Tours in English and the success of booking another tour in the canceled tour time slot.
