If you cancel or cannot take your tour as a consequence of force majeure, Nuremberg Tours in English will refund the amount you have paid for your tour to a limit of €600 EURO less any non-recoverable out-of-pocket costs incurred on your behalf – car rentals, admissions, hotel reservations, tickets, PayPal transaction fees, etc. Nuremberg Tours in English may require you to provide verification to confirm that you were unable to take your tour if you request a refund under this provision. Force Majeure includes impersonal events such as war, civil insurrection, strikes, volcanoes, earthquake or natural disaster. Force Majeure in this provision does NOT include river water levels affected by weather. A travel warning issued by the US Department of State AFTER you book your tour invokes ‘force majeure’. If you are on a ship and it is unable to dock for whatever reason, you are NOT covered under this ‘force majeure’ provision. For cancellation due to any other reasons (such as illness, change of personal circumstances, etc.), the date on which the request to cancel is received by Nuremberg Tours in English will determine the amount of your refund as follows: If you cancel 60 days or more before the start of the tour the cancellation fee will be waived. Nuremberg Tours in English will refund the amount paid less any non-recoverable upfront costs incurred on your behalf. These upfront costs represent out of pocket expenses for tickets, transportation deposits, other tour expenses, and PayPal transaction fees (4%). Please send a message to kevin to find out what these costs are, if any. If you cancel 59 to 30 days before the start of the tour: 40% cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days before the start of the tour: 100% cancellation fee. In the event that Tour Guide Kevin cancels the tour, you may choose between rescheduling the tour, a full refund of all monies paid OR a credit towards an alternative tour. If you choose to accept a credit, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded or paid by you as applicable. A waiver of these cancellation policies is at the discretion of Nuremberg Tours in English and the success of booking another tour in the canceled tour time slot.
Customer Feedback & Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Kevin. He is easy to talk with and his "Nuremberg WW2 Combo tour" is incredibly informative and interesting. He has a wealth of knowledge on this period in "Nuremberg history", the "Nazi rallies" and the "Nuremberg trials". His narrative and presentation are excellent. We almost felt transported back to the time of the rallies as he brought us to key areas and explained the scope and magnitude of Hitler's vision. The last part of the tour takes place in the building where the Nuremberg trials were held. Because it was Sunday, we were able to access the room where they took place. Beforehand, Kevin provided us with a great deal of information about the trials and about the men involved. It was very interesting and made the experience even more authentic. Afterwards, he dropped us off for lunch at a quaint restaurant in Old Town. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for dinner the following night. Thank you, Kevin, for a truly memorable experience. We highly, highly, highly recommend you!
