Nuremberg WW2 Combo Tour is not only for WW2 buffs
My popular Nuremberg WW2 Combo tour, covering the Rally Grounds to Room 600, is a great way to learn about not only the immense proportions of the former nazi party rally grounds and the megalomania of the National Socialist regime, but also about the Nuremberg Trials which was the forum for what is often referred to as "The Trial of the Century". It's a really great way to round out your Nuremberg WW2 knowledge.
What you'll see
During this tour we will start off by visiting the Luitpold Arena site, the Congress Hall, The Great Street, and the Zeppelin Field. Afterwards we will will drive over to the Justice Palace, where Room 600 is located, and learn about the first serious attempt to adjudicate State leaders accused of war crimes.
After the tour I can drop you off in the Old Town so you can have some world famous Nuremberg bratwurst or check out the Historic Art Bunker where the Monuments Men found many works of art stolen by the nazis.
It is also possible to customize this tour and combine it with any of my other Nuremberg Tours in English as well. I'll be happy to give you a quote for any Nuremberg tour variation that you want.
For parties of six or less, pick-up and drop-off with my personal vehicle from locations within central Nuremberg is FREE. If your party is larger than six people, please let me know so I can give you a quote for the additional costs involved.
The tour duration is 4 hours.
Please note: Room 600 (the courtroom where the trials were held) is still a working courtroom today and, therefore, I can't guarantee that you will be able to actually go into Room 600. However, you can always visit the excellent exhibition upstairs regardless.
